Nicky’s Story
We are reaching out to you to ask for your help for a very special cat who is in need of medical attention. If you’ve followed Nicky’s journey, you know that she has had a tough time these past few years. She came to Black Cat Rescue in early 2021 when her owners passed away. She ended up bouncing between a few different homes, before finally getting adopted by her latest foster who understood her and was willing to give her the care and attention she needed. With lots of patience and compassion, she’s truly blossomed and has become way more confident, comfortable, and relaxed.
However, we have received some heartbreaking news. This sweet kitty is now facing some serious medical issues and is in a great deal of pain from multiple sources. Her knees are very enlarged, which requires x-rays. She also desperately needs a dental.
It's hard to stand by and watch her suffer, which is why we are reaching out to our community for support once again. The cost of her medical care is significant, and her adopter cannot do this alone. We need your help to make sure she receives the treatment she needs and deserves.
