Black Cat Rescue - Here for the Undercat

ABOUT US:

Black Cat Rescue is a No Kill cat rescue organization operating in Massachusetts. Did you know that black cats are far less likely to get adopted as cats of other colors? Neither did we! Black Cat Rescue strives to change those odds for black cats in Massachusetts.

We aren’t just here for black cats; we strive to help the Undercat - cats with lower chances of adoption, such as seniors, shy cats, hospice cats, and cats with special medical and behavioral needs.

MISSION STATEMENT:

Black Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer network of foster homes dedicated to saving the lives of homeless Undercats by providing quality foster and medical care while actively seeking loving, permanent adoptive homes.

As an organization, we work to improve the public image of the undercat and animal adoption by making undercat adoption a positive experience for all involved. We fully embrace the tenets of the No Kill movement. Our foster cats come from all over Massachusetts. We accept owner surrenders as well as cats directly off the streets or from local shelters and rescue organizations.
