A No-Kill Cat Rescue In Boston Since 2007.

Did you know that black cats are half as likely to get adopted as cats of other colors?

Here for the Undercat

You’ve probably heard of an “underdog”. Well, at Black Cat Rescue, we’re here for the Undercats – the cats who have a lower chance of adoption. Of course, these are often black cats, but also include seniors, shy cats, hospice cats, and cats with special medical and behavioral needs.

Adopting is one of the best things you can do.

When you adopt, you’re not just giving a deserving cat a home. You’re also reducing the demand for puppy mills and other industrial-scale breeding operations that put profit before animal welfare.

Some of our kitties “in residence” are not yet ready for adoption; however, you may meet some of them below. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates as we get to know them better and make sure they get the medical care they need while in their foster homes!
